Classification of ceramic fibers

Ceramic fiber is made by double-sided needle-punching process, and is widely used in both high and low temperature environments. According to different production processes, we generally divide ceramic fiber blankets into two types, one is the swing silk blanket, the other is the spray silk blanket.

1. Diameter of filament: the spun fiber is thicker, and the spun fiber is generally 3.0-5.0µ m. The spinneret fiber is generally 2.0-3.0µ m；

2. Length of fiber filament: the spinning fiber is longer, the spinning fiber is generally 150-250mm, and the spinning fiber is generally 100-200mm;

3. Thermal conductivity: the silk spray blanket is superior to the silk throw blanket due to its fine fiber;

4. Tensile and bending strength: the spun silk blanket is superior to the spun silk blanket because of its thicker fiber;

5.Application of making ceramic fiber block: the silk blanket is superior to the silk blanket because of its thick and long fiber. During the folding process of block making, the blown fiber blanket is easy to break and tear, while the silk blanket can be folded very tightly and not easily damaged, and the quality of the block will directly affect the quality of the furnace lining;

6. Application of vertical layering of large blankets such as waste heat boiler: because the fiber is thick and long, the spun silk blanket has better tensile resistance and durability, so the spun silk blanket is better than the silk spray blanket;
